Our latest design change incorporates tabs into the dashboard with two goals in mind:
- Improving the onboarding process
- Positioning summaries front and centre.
We achieved both by only showing what you need when you need it.
With the update, we made “Summaries” the default tab for returning users, so you can modify/add summaries quickly, while separating Accounts / Channels into different tabs. Compared to the previous dashboard, which showed everything all in one view, this allows you to focus on doing one task at a time. If you’ve just signed for our service, we’ll take you to the account tab first to let you link a your Google Analytics account first.
As a little bonus, we also added "+Add" shortcuts inside “Create Summary” modal so you can add accounts or add channels while you’re creating a summary.
